Installation Instructions:
(Applies for all Garry's Mod versions archived here so far.)
1. Open the ZIP or RAR File with any extractor.
2. Locate your sourcemods folder. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods" - (for 64 bit systems, win 7 and 8, and 10. If you can't find it, search up the directory for your system online.
3. After you open the rar/zip file, extract the, example: "garrysmod(number)"/"gmod(number)"
folder into the sourcemods folder, and restart steam.
4. After you restart steam, you should see the game in your library.
5. (Skip this step if you already have SDK bases 2006 and 7 downloaded) Before your play the newly installed garry's mod, go to your steam library search bar, go press the games button, press the tools button, and download these bases, "Source SDK Base 2007" and "Source SDK Base 2006".
6. Play it.

(Read this: THIS GAME SELF INSTALLS WITH AN EXE, AFTER YOUR INSTALL GO TO THE GMOD9 FOLDER IN YOUR SOURCEMODS FOLDER, EDIT THE FILE, "gameinfo.txt" AND CHANGE THE NUMBER VALUE, "220" TO "215" SO IT CAN WORK.
